News in Winter 2011/12: The snow park Dachstein West below the Edtalmbahn has been redesigned by a freestyle expert team and offers you a lot of new "obstacles". The extended carpark next to the Hornbahn Russbach bottom station offers more space and comfort. The beginner´s slope "Hornbabylift" is being prepared with artificial snow and provides a gentle introduction into winter sports to beginners.

Snow Tour Party with Radio and Radio Galaxy Trausnitz
Pure skiing fun and après-ski entertainment is the motto of the snow tour with the Lower Bavarian Radio Station Trausnitz and Radio Galaxy from Landshut. On Saturday, January 21st, 2012 the snow tour party starts on 3.30 p.m. with DJ entertainment, many fun competitions, lots of music, food stalls and bars.

That is what parents of small kids are dreaming of: A few hours blithe skiing - and the boys and girls are in best care. The Spatzennest, also in the valley station at the "Russbach Hornbahn", makes it possible. Kids from 1 year on are under professional care for a few hours or the whole day. On demand lunch and drinks are provided. This service if free of charge for all kids who spend their holidays with their parents in Russbach.
